After years of fast food chains battling for the best value meal in the business, Taco Bell is fighting to have the final word. The beloved Tex-Mex chain will launch a massive new value menu on January 22, and the prices are so good they may redefine what affordable fast food looks like.

The Luxe Value Menu will feature a whopping 10 items, all under $3, which offer “unparalleled value,” per a press release shared with Food & Wine. That includes five brand-new menu items and another five returning favorites.

The menu’s five new offerings cover a range of textures and tastes, ensuring that there’s something for everyone. For a sweet treat, grab the Salted Caramel Churros for just $1.99; this is the only limited-time item on the inaugural Luxe Value Menu, which will have other new items rotating in throughout the year, so you should snag it as soon as possible.

The Mini Taco Salad ($2.49) is also making its grand entrance. This crispy-shelled snack, introduced at last year’s Live Live conference, scales down the familiar entrée into something a bit bite-sized — but still hearty. It’s stacked with seasoned beef, shredded cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, refried beans, and drizzles of creamy chipotle sauce.

The Beefy Potato Loaded Griller, another newcomer, wraps seasoned beef, crispy potato bites, nacho cheese, chipotle sauce, and reduced-fat sour cream in a crispy grilled tortilla. Available for $2.49, the handheld burrito may be a good drive-thru option for enjoying on the go. For any game day delivery orders coming up, try the Chips & Nacho Supreme Dip ($2.49), a layered dip with plenty of beef, beans, and nacho cheese sauce.

Looking for something a touch lighter for your lunch break? The new Avocado Ranch Chicken Stacker promises fresh flavors with grilled chicken, an avocado ranch sauce, shredded cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes.

While prices will vary some by location, the Luxe Value Menu starts at around $1.19 for a classic Cheesy Roll Up. Taco Bell devotees can sample four other returning favorites on the new value menu, including the Spicy Potato Soft Taco ($1.29), Cheesy Double Beef Burrito ($2.79), Cheesy Bean and Rice Burrito ($1.49), and 3 Cheese Chicken Flatbread Melt ($2.29).

“Our team was very intentional in curating the menu, ensuring it strikes the right balance between trusted fan favorites and bold new innovations,” Heather Mottershaw, Taco Bell’s vice president of pipeline innovation and product development, tells Food & Wine. “Designed with flexibility and consumer choice in mind, the menu works for any occasion — whether fans build an order entirely from the Luxe Value Menu or mix and match with their go-to favorites.”

Believe it or not, the discounts do get even better. On January 27, Taco Bell will give 30,000 of its Rewards Members a chance to try one item for just $1. The opportunity drops at 2 p.m. PT exclusively on the restaurant’s app and will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis, Taco Bell details.

In addition to the chance to score $1 items on January 27, Rewards Members will have early access to the new Luxe Value Menu beginning on January 16. And it’s never too early to start taking advantage of deals.
