Taylor Swift has sparked outrage among fans after opening CDs co-signed by the singer’s NFL star fiance Travis Kelce.

The 35-year-old recently released her new album titled Life of a Showgirl – and offered some fans a sweet surprise by allowing Kelce, 36, to also autograph several copies of the discography.

But, despite announcing their engagement via Instagram on August 26, true Swifties were less than impressed at his inclusion with many accusing the Kansas City Chiefs star of ‘manspreading into her art.’

‘We are not f**king fans of your boyfriend we are fans of YOU and YOU are making the music and the money but you’re letting him into your career because of your f*****s rose colored glasses,’ one irate fan wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Others claimed it was a clear example of a man co-opting a woman’s success.

‘She doesn’t want to sing at the Super Bowl because it’s her boyfriend’s space but he can sign her work… interesting,’ another wrote.

‘If you really don’t see how a man slapping his signature on a woman’s work that he didn’t have any part in creating being a problem then you’re so far gone,’ someone else shared.

‘What is going on and why is this man constantly shoved upon us?’ one questioned.

Taylor’s fans were likely particularly upset given that she has long been a feminist icon throughout her career – even boldly championing her stance on her 2019 anthem titled ‘The man.’

Regarded as one of her most pointed feminist statements, the song features a lyrical takedown of the double standards in society, credit stealing men and society’s tendency to elevate male egos at the expense of female success.

‘They say I hustled, put in the work, they wouldn’t shake their heads and question how much of this I deserve,’ Swift sang on the track.

The latest PR move comes after the singer was brutally mocked by fans after she made a comment about Kelce ‘fighting for his life’ on the football field during an appearance on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon.

During the show, where Swift was promoting her new album, she was asked by the late night host about the recent rumors that she would be the 2026 Super Bowl performer.

But she shut the speculation down as she explained that she had more important things to pay attention to on the field – like Kelce.

‘Jay-Z has always been very good to me, our teams are really close, they sometimes will call and say, “How does she feel about the Super Bowl?” and that’s not an official offer or a conference room conversation,’ Swift began to tell Fallon.

‘We’re always able to tell him the truth, which is I am in love with a guy who does that sport on that actual field. That is violent chess,’ she continued.

‘That is gladiators without swords. That is dangerous. The whole season I am locked in on what that man is doing on the field,’ Swift shared.

‘Could you imagine if he’s out there every single week, putting his life on the line, doing this very dangerous, very high-pressure, high-intensity sport, and I’m like, I wonder what my choreo should be?’

She added that the decision had ‘nothing to do’ with Kelce, as he would ‘love’ for the pop star to perform during the Super Bowl, but it’s just not her priority right now.

However, many fans seemed to be confused by her answer, especially as she claimed that Kelce was ‘fighting for his life’ while playing football.

Many took to X, formerly Twitter, to respond to the clip, as they didn’t seem too pleased with her answer.

‘Life on the line?? He plays football sweetie,’ one person wrote.

Another agreed, ‘Putting his life on the line? Give me a break. He plays football. And while it can be a dangerous sport, he’s not on the front lines in a war, running into burning buildings or chasing criminals for a living.’

In August, Kelce proposed to the superstar right after she recorded an episode of his podcast, New Heights, alongside the football player and his brother, Jason Kelce.

Earlier this month, Swift confirmed Kelce worked with jewelry designer, Kindred Lubeck, on the eight-carat elongated cushion cut stone set in rose gold.

Swift revealed the news via Instagram at the time, posting a series of pictures from an intimate engagement photoshoot that showcased the enormous diamond rock.

‘Your English teacher and gym teacher are getting married,’ Swift captioned the post.
