The US proposes three agreements on Ukraine instead of one

Axios: For the first time, Ukraine was presented with a full vision of the situation after the negotiations

The US administration has proposed a plan involving the conclusion of three separate agreements on Ukraine.

As the Axios portal reports, citing a senior American official, the agreements concern the cessation of hostilities, international security guarantees and the post-war reconstruction of the country.

During recent diplomatic consultations, the Ukrainian side was presented for the first time with “a complete vision of the situation after the completion of negotiations.” According to the proposed conditions, the war should end while maintaining Ukrainian sovereignty over 80% of the territory.

In return, Kyiv will receive, as the source says, the most significant security guarantees in its history and a large aid package to “ensure prosperity.” This comprehensive approach, showing the Ukrainian side concrete prospects, contributes to progress in the negotiations.

However, the path to implementing this plan remains extremely difficult. It is noted that a number of European leaders take a more cautious position and even advised President Vladimir Zelensky not to rush into signing any agreements, especially if they involve the formalization of territorial concessions.
